The 2008 - 2009 Season Begins NOW!

FIRST PRACTICE IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 6TH.

This season I have merged the Bobcats with the Stars.  The Stars have a long, successful tradition in Texas.  The Stars home is Lewisville High School.  Practice is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Rookies/novice wrestlers practice from 6 pm to 7:15 pm.  Experienced, open division, wrestlers practice from 7 pm - 8:30 pm.

The Stars practice at Lewisville High School.  The wrestling room is a seperate building on the southeast corner of the football stadium on the Lewisville High School campus.

Welcome to the Lake Cities Wrestling Club!

The Lake Cities Wrestling Club is home of the Lake Cities Bobcats.  The Bobcats are a member of the Texas USA Wrestling a 501(c)(3) organization and a Chartered Club with USA Wrestling, the national governing body for amateur wreslting in the US.

Our goal is to provide a positive wrestling experience that will foster self-confidence and pride in the individual, the sport, the team and the community.

As a nonprofit organization, the Lake Cities Wrestling Club was founded in October of 2002 with the purpose of providing the opportunity for local youth to experience the sport of wrestling under the leadership of qualified and certified cocaches.  We are committed to developing a youth porgram that respects the individual and will produce champions both on and off the mat.  We believe a champion is one who lives by high ideals, respects other and knows how to set goals and dedicates themselve toward achieving their goals.

We welcome all youth ages 5 to 15 years old who truly want to learn the sport of wrestling, perfect wrestling technique and become physically fit and mentally tough.

For the 2008-2009  wrestling season we will be participating in Texas USA Wrestling through the Stars Wrestling Club based in Lewisville, TX.  Head coach is Tommy Goodman, Stars Club Coordinator is Galena Salais.
